Remembering the Whole

Inspired by my experiences living in diverse communities around the world, in 2009 I started an art project loosely based on the ancient Egyptian myth of Isis and Osiris. The work is essentially a love story told from one piece to the next. And like the ancient Egyptian myth, the story is fractured and must be put together both literally and figuratively. Each piece is comprised of many origami units. The units are made of different kinds of paper and decorated using pencil or pen.
